your mind has been quietly protecting you from the truth.
This post was inspired by a comment on one of Spinal Energetics’ viral reels — someone asking whether it was normal to feel both curious and frightened by what they were watching. The answer to her question deserves its own post. But what struck me more was the question beneath the question: why do people avoid this work, dismiss it, or feel the need to demonize it when they don’t understand it all?
It’s not only because it challenges ingrained beliefs. Or because most of us were never taught how the nervous system, somatics, or the human biofield actually work. Or even because the unfamiliar naturally unsettles us.
It’s because of what this work brings: clarity.
And clarity, as I wrote below, is something the mind has been quietly and efficiently protecting us from — often without our awareness or consent.
That’s the real confrontation. Not the movements. Not the sounds. Not the strangeness of it. But the truth it leads you back to.
Somewhere along the way, people stop seeking clarity. Not because it's unavailable, but because some part of them already knows what it costs; the inconvenience, the accountability, the destabilization, the grief, the anger, the shame, and more.
The ego, the educated mind, the nervous system, whatever you wish to call it, already recognizes that real clarity means surrendering what has made life feel comfortable, safe, certain, and temporarily happy enough. To avoid cognitive dissonance, which it registers as danger, it quietly, efficiently, unconsciously steers us away. So seamlessly that we don't even notice we've been redirected.
Clarity from the soul humbles. It doesn't flatter. Often, and at first, it doesn't confirm what you already believe but dismantles it. It reveals that there is more beyond what we've been conditioned to accept as truth. It can completely break your pride, showing you that you've been partially right at best and sometimes not at all.
It surfaces what you've refused to look at, and illuminates how those very things have been quietly shaping everything despite your best efforts at control.
Clarity carries an invitation, not a punishment. People avoid it because of the initial bitterness, unaware that the sweetness on the other side is unlike anything else: liberation.
Contrary to what most believe, clarity isn’t obscured or hidden; it has always been and is already present. It's simply existing on the other side of the blinders we've grown so accustomed to wearing that we've forgotten they're there, or decidedly keep on. Whether clarity reaches you gently or painfully depends on how willing you are to loosen your grip on your "self."
Whether clarity becomes medicine or poison depends entirely on what you do with it — on how much of your own darkness you've been willing to meet, sit with, and integrate. Clarity that inflates the ego is not clarity from God. True clarity quiets you without silencing you. It brings you to your knees in the most necessary way. Rather than sugarcoated or diluted to please, your words become sharper, yet they will not wound the right audience.
The work I do and receive has been doing exactly this over the years: leading me into the places within that I've spent years unconsciously avoiding and removing blinders I didn't even know I was wearing. Most importantly, it helps me understand how to grow and bear the unique fruits I was designed to carry.
When you gain genuine clarity, something else opens up alongside it: creativity. The kind that feels effortless and entirely yours — untranslatable, unreplicable, not by another person and certainly not by AI. It isn't forced or performed, and it simply moves through you. This post took me a fraction of the time it would have in the past, and that’s not incidental. That’s what clarity does when you stop spending so much energy managing what you’ve been avoiding. It gets you moving and flowing as you are destined to
That's why this work is not about fixing symptoms, and it is lifelong. And why I chose to do this for others.
